About the Book

Reforging the Chain : Labour Power and Law in Supply Chain Capitalism (forthcoming) is an ongoing book project developed under ChainGE Lab, supported by a grant from the European Research Council.

The book is being developed by Hila Shamir, Shikha Silliman Bhattacharjee, Minju Kang, and Trang Tran, and examines how labour, law, and power are being reshaped under supply chain capitalism.

Relation to Practising ChainGE

Practising ChainGE and Reforging the Chain are closely connected. The development of the book has created the space for this platform, which documents and reflects on ongoing struggles, strategies, and practices across global supply chains.

Selected insights and contributions from the platform may inform the development of the book. Where relevant, contributors will be contacted and engaged in this process on a fully informed and consent-based basis.
