Contribute

Practising ChainGE invites contributions from workers, trade union organisers, activists, legal practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and creatives.

We are interested in work that documents and reflects on how labour struggles are reshaping power, law, and accountability in global supply chains.

We welcome submissions in multiple languages. If you would like to translate your work into other languages, we are happy to support and explore this with you.

Our Approach

Practising ChainGE is committed to creating a shared space for learning across different forms of knowledge and experience.

We value contributions that are accessible, grounded, and reflective. At the same time, we recognise that many contributions emerge from ongoing struggles and sensitive contexts.

Contributors are expected to ensure that what they share does not put individuals, organisations, or communities at risk. This includes being mindful of consent, confidentiality, and how experiences or strategies are represented.

The editorial team will work with contributors to ensure that material is shared responsibly and with care – including adjusting framing, anonymising details, or reworking content where needed.

What we’re looking for

We welcome a range of formats, including essays, reflections, interviews, audio pieces, visual work, and creative or experimental formats.

We especially encourage collaborative pieces that bring together different types of actors working on the same issue – for example, organisers, researchers, and legal practitioners.

How to contribute

We ask contributors to begin with a short proposal rather than a full draft.

Your proposal (300–400 words) should briefly outline:

  • the idea and format

  • the struggle, case, or strategy you will focus on

  • the relevant context (region, sector, or supply chain)

  • any collaborators involved

Selected contributions will be developed in conversation with the editorial team. We aim to respond within two weeks of submission.
